Café d'Vine uses a proprietary infusion process that allows the coffee beans to absorb and capture the essential oils, anti-oxidants, fruit sugars, and aromatics of the wine before they are ground.
Pinot Noir - deep and sweet with flavors of berries and ripe fruits that enrich a dark roast blend.
Merlot - brightens a medium-dark roast with aromatics for a smooth flavor with light overtones of fresh new wine.
Cabernet - gently marries elegant red wine bouquets and mild sweetness with medium roast coffee for a clean, delicate finish.
The wines used in Café d'Vine are selected from premier vineyards in California's Napa and Sonoma regions including Sterling, Mondavi, Beringer, Chalk Hill, Gallo Sonoma, Coturri, Chateau St. Jean and Schug-Carneros.
The beans chosen for each of our three wine-infused coffees are artisan roasted according to customized recipes of precise timing and temperature that are specifically paired to each of the wine varietals.
Our coffees use hand-harvested Arabica Bourbon-Caturra and distinctive old-growth Tipica beans from sustainably managed private estates located in the high mountain region of Cuzco-Andes.
Café d'Vine coffee beans are shade grown and certified organic by Quality Assurance International and the USDA. These fair trade beans have the stamp of approval from both the rainforest Alliance and Bird Friendly "Shade" Coffee organizations.
The microclimate at the exceptional altitude where the beans are grown yields a coffee crop with gentle sweetness and substantial body. Our selected crops are washed and naturally sun-cured to ensure consistent quality and to protect the beans' high acidity and balanced flavor.
